Potfest in the Park

The weather was fine and sunny for my annual visit yesterday to Potfest in the Park. Always inspirational, and I get to talk to some great craftspeople. Here are some pieces that I particularly liked .

First the quirky work of Helene Sellier-Duplessis:

Coventry visit

Visited my daughter in Coventry and found nice views from her window:

Some Welsh links

Our wonderful holiday landlady, hearing I  was looking for natural dark fleece, took me to see her friend  Maureen Preen

who very kindly sold me a dark alpaca fleece.

And a man we met on one of our walks along the Montgomery canal, also hearing about my search for fleece, told me about a shop in LLanfair Caereinion which turned out to be the Colinette mill shop . Well, not what I was looking for, but wow!

More from Wales

Went to Powis Castle; the gardens were magnificent and especially the hedge:

Holiday finds

I've been on holiday this week near Welshpool. I loved this teacosy from South Africa in my holiday place. Click on it to enlarge and see the detail.
